Celebrate The Season By Cleaning Your Closets
(bring us your gently used items!)

Champion Credit Union is proud to be a collection point for donations to Family House. Family House is located in Toledo on Indiana near City Park and is the largest emergency shelter for homeless families in Ohio. Family House strives to keep families together in times of crisis and aids them in re-establishing themselves with on-going counseling and case management. During a families stay they receive counseling and referrals for housing. If available from donations, the families will receive household items to help them furnish their new home. Family house receives limited government funding and depends on the generosity of community members. Annually Family House provides food, shelter, and other services for more than 800 family members (more than 500 are homeless children).

Champion Credit Union is accepting donations of new and gently used household items, toys, personal care items, nonperishable food items, and much more to be provided to Family House. Monetary (tax-deductible) donations are ALWAYS welcome. A wish list is available on the CCU website (www. ChampionCU.org) under What’s Happening and features items that Family House is in need of. You can also visit any CCU office for a copy of the wish list. Donations are accepted at any office on an ongoing basis. Remember that now is a great time to clean out closets and bring us the blankets, towels, and linens you don’t use! Receipts for donations are available upon request.
