College Bound?
Now is the time to start preparing!
The idea of paying, and preparing, for college is a scary one, but it doesn’t have to
be. Did you know your credit union can help with student loans? CCU can also help get
students ready with the financial tools they need to succeed in college.
Champion Credit Union offers Stafford loans for students preparing to enter college
and PLUS loans for parents who are preparing to send their children off to college.
Now is the time to complete the FAFSA form which helps determine how much financial aid
you may receive. The sooner you complete it, the better! It is easy to complete online at
www.FAFSA.edu.gov. When you receive
your award letter , call the credit union and request a loan application that can be
returned to your school of choice.
Don’t forget to start your student off right with a low limit CCU Visa now, before they
head to campus. The fixed rate and no annual fee make it a great deal and Scorecard cash
back make it one you can’t beat! Don’t let your student be swayed when on campus into one
of those other cards that usually carry high rates and fees.
Don’t forget your students share draft checking account, why wait until August to open it?
Get your student ready with a CCU MasterCard ATM/Debit card and online account access with
Virtual Branch.
Call or visit any CCU office for information on how we can help you or your student
prepare now for their future.
