Champion Credit Union has learned that your debit card information may have been compromised as a result of multiple U.S. based merchant processors including, Heartland Payment Systems. Published reports indicate information that may have been compromised includes debit and credit card numbers and expiration dates. The compromise is reported to have occurred on transactions made between May 2008 through December 2008.

To protect your account, we are mailing a new debit card to you. You will also receive a new Personal Identification Number (PIN), in a separate mailer. Please be aware that the PIN mailer may arrive at any time, please watch for it. Inadvertently disposing of the PIN mailer could result in additional time that your card may not be available for use.

Please activate the new replacement card immediately upon receipt following the directions enclosed with the card.

For your protection, the credit union will block use of your existing card 15 days from the ship date of your new card.
